An insulated dielectric window assembly includes a dielectric window, an upper polymer ring and a lower polymer ring of an inductively coupled plasma processing apparatus. The upper polymer ring insulates an outer edge of the dielectric window from the atmospheric air of a cooler and the lower polymer ring insulates the lower surface of the dielectric window from the chamber surface supporting the window. |
