Brazing or other sealing means increase production steps and costs. In the present invention connector bushings are crimped to the terminal ends of tubular electrical heating elements for heating equipment illuminating the prior additional sealing steps which produce an explosion-proof connection. Fluid tight connections are required if electric elements are employed in hazardous environments, e.g. where there is a risk of explosion.
