METHOD OF PROCESSING EXTERNAL SURFACES OF ROTARY WORKPIECES OF PRINTING MACHINES MADE OF ABRASION RESISTANT COMPOSITES WITH ABRASIVE STICKS

摘要

A method of processing external surfaces of rotary workpieces of printing machines made of abrasion resistant composites with abrasive sticks consists in that workpiece is fixed in working machine and a tool as rectangular abrasive stick is placed in precision slot of tool head in such a manner that the tool head axis intersects the workpiece axis at right angle and the tool head is tightly pressed with given force to processed surface, which revolves round its axis with normalized speed, with simultaneous displacement along the axis of rotary workpiece with calculated speed. Along with longitudinal displacement of the tool head with abrasive sticks along the workpiece axis it is put into longitudinal-and-reciprocal vibrations with amplitude of 2- and frequency of 2-5 vibrations per second.
