A method for the quantitative assessment of the content of the gall bladder in young adults comprises the echography of the gall bladder on an empty stomach, the additional tracing, calculation, and finally, diagnosis. The tracing of the content of the gall bladder is provided with the aid of the special software of ALOKA SSD-1700 ultrasonic scanner. The average gradation of the echographic density is calculated. The echographic density below 24 conventional units is considered as normal. The echographic density above 24 conventional units is considered as increased suggesting the presence of the biliary sludge. |
