The invention relates to medicine , namely to oncology and can be used for the treatment of benign and malignant human tumors. The proposed anti-tumor agent is mixed-ligand complex of calcium gluconate and ethylenediaminetetraacetate . What is new is that the components are taken in the ratio of the calcium salt of gluconic acid, 1 g/mol and disodium edetate to 1 g/mol . The product does not contain excess starting materials. Claimed agent , is non-toxic (LD50 intraperitoneally with white nonlinear rats was 8000.0 mg/0.1 m). The main feature is its ability to inhibit the growth of benign and malignant tumors and their metastases of activating apoptosis in cancer cells. All of this can be attributed to its modern new generation of anti-tumor agents that may have a great future in pharmacology. |
