摘要 A method for determination of affection of water eco-system through introduction of ceriodaphnia Ceriodaphnia affinis Lilljeborg at age of up to 24 hours to control and test water, with daily feeding ceriodaphnia, registration of number of live ceriodaphnia and posterity, evaluation of chronic toxicity of water on basis of difference between the characteristics of survival and (or) fertility of ceriodaphnia in natural water and in control water. Before daily feeding, in each vessel with ceriodaphnia change of control and test water to respective newly prepared water takes place. Bio-testing is finished after 60 % of initial females give three sequential broods. Duration of bio-testing is (7±1) days. Probability of difference between the test and the control by characteristics of survival and (or) fertility are determined by Student criterion (St), that for real criterion of probability of the difference (St) is calculated, with comparison to theoretical value (St), from that the conclusion on the fact that test water or its dilution make or do not make chronic toxic effect. To evaluate the level of danger of pollution of natural water for water ecosystems, characteristic “affection of water ecosystem” is used, according to set values of chronic toxicity of natural water, the quantitative characteristic of that one is expressed by coefficient of affection (K), at that the coefficient of affection of water ecosystem is differentiated by the levels of chronic toxicity of natural water.
