METHOD FOR OPERATIVE TREATMENT OF HYGROMAS

A method for surgical treatment of hygromas comprises the incision of skin and subcutaneous fat with its separation from the surrounding tissue. The hygroma is cut crosswise into four or more parts, its contents is externally evacuated, and its edge is sutured under a layer of subcutaneous fat, which is subsequently placed on the inner surface of the hygroma capsule and the wound is sutured.
