PURPOSE: A digital information display (DID) system which sends complex content including DID content and broadcast content and performs monitoring using a wall controller and an operation method thereof are provided to display complex content including DID content and broadcast content and monitor the status of a system using a low-specification terminal. CONSTITUTION: A DID server (110) sends complex content including DID content and broadcast content. Multiple master clients (120a - 120n) generate encoded image signals corresponding to each of the screens where the complex content is played. Each of the multiple master clients transmits the image signal to a device connected through a network. Each of multiple sub clients receives the image signal. Each of the multiple sub clients displays a screen where the image signal is played.
