PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of silicon carbide powder is provided to form a mixture by controlling a weight ratio of dry silicon and organic liquefied carbon compound, thereby producing mixed powder with even particle size without solvent. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of silicon carbide powder comprises following steps. (ST10) Carbon source including dry silicon and organic carbon compound is mixed, and a mixture is formed. And (ST20) the mixture is reacted. The weight ratio of the carbon source and dry silicon is 1:1 to 1:1.35. The dry silicon is selected from group which is comprised of silica sol, silicon dioxide, fine silica and quartz powder. The organic carbon is selected from group which is comprised of phenol resin, franc resin, xylene resin, polyimide, polyurethane, poly acrylonitrile, polyvinyl alcohol, polyvinylacetate and cellulose.
