The device has toothed belts (1, 6) extended parallel to side edges (3) of a shutter (2) and respectively including successive teeth (5, 8). The teeth have a side face (22) extending along a longitudinal direction of the corresponding side edge of one belt that is provided on of faces of the shutter. The side face takes support against a support element e.g. additional toothed belt, when the shutter is rolled. The element is provided on the other face of the shutter, and has a flange (4) supported against the teeth (8).
