PURPOSE: A biodegradable polyester film and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to maximize the flexibility and transparency of biodegradable polyester film and prevent steam vapor generation during manufacturing process and bleed-out phenomenon after extrusion. CONSTITUTION: A biodegradable polyester film is produced by compounding of a polycaprolactone which has less than 10,000 average molecular weight(Mn) and a polylactic acid. A method for manufacturing the biodegradable polyester film comprises the following steps: obtaining a resin by compounding a polycaprolactone which has less than 10,000 average molecular weight(Mn) and a polylactic acid; obtaining an undrawn sheet by melting and extruding the resin; stretching the undrawn sheet vertically or horizontally and heat setting the drawn sheet. |
