FIELD: machine building.SUBSTANCE: flow control device comprises an inlet side, an outlet side, a sealing element placed in-between and a diaphragm. The diaphragm selectively opens or closes or controls closing of the opening between the inlet and outlet sides depending on the proximity of the diaphragm to the sealing element. The diaphragm comprises the first part on one of its sides affected by the liquid medium pressure from the inlet side, the second part of the same side affected by the liquid medium pressure on the outlet side and the opposite side affected by the liquid medium control pressure. The diaphragm movement between the opened and closed positions is regulated by the inlet, outlet and control pressure resulting in the diaphragm deformation. The liquid medium control pressure is equal to the liquid medium pressure on the inlet side to close the said opening and is less than the liquid medium pressure on the inlet side to open the said opening. The diaphragm comprises reinforced elastomer made in the form of a cup. Reinforcement prevents the elastomer from lentghening. The sealing element comprises a ring around the outer part of the diaphragm made as a cup.
