Distortion stipulated at least partially by ripple voltage can be eliminated from control signal that controls entry of input current to the converter. Systems and methods described in materials of the present application provide a simple and effective method for reduction or elimination of one or more subharmonic oscillations or total harmonic distortion from input current of the converter during synchronous and asynchronous operation modes.
