FIELD: oil and gas industry.SUBSTANCE: invention offers protector for protection of power cable in well which contains housing with cable channel and central channel made as a whole with size for outside diameter of tubing string to attach protector housing on union joint. One end of folding bow-shaped binding clips is designed with loop-shaped end with possibility to rotate on axis through loop-shaped clip. The other end is fixed by bolt to the housing. Protector housing is made by die forming and is equipped with two guide ribs, reinforcing slots and guard ribs of slots. Cable input and output from cable channel in the housing is also equipped with guide members which are used for setting required gap b between tubing depending on thickness of a used cable. Folding bow-shaped binding clips are made two-layered and their ends are fixed to each other by T-connection from inner side are directed towards tubing. Fixing bolt is equipped with protecting cover. Protector housing is made casting; it is equipped with guide ribs and guard ribs of slots and guide members of the cable input and output from housing of cable channel.EFFECT: improving operating reliability.1 cl, 11 dwg
