摘要 FIELD: measurement equipment.SUBSTANCE: ultrasonic gas flow meter includes two piezoelectric converters, each of which consists of at least two units offset relative to each other along the emission (reception) direction. Result as per Claim 2 is achieved by the fact that each converter includes an even number of emitting (receiving) units. Result as per Claim 3 is achieved by the fact that converters are located on opposite side walls of a measuring chamber with an offset relative to each other along direction of spread of a gas flow. Achievement of the result as per Claim 4 is provided by the fact that converters are located on one of the side walls of the measuring chamber with an offset relative to each other on the wall along direction of a gas flow symmetrically to cross-sectional plane of the measuring chamber; in the centre of opposite side wall of the measuring chamber there located is at least one acoustical mirror so that its plane is parallel to planes of emitting (receiving) surfaces of the units. With that, offset of the units of one converter is mirror-like relative to offset of the units of the other converter, and planes of the mirror and receiving-emitting converters do not project inside the measuring chamber beyond its plane. Result as per Claim 5 is achieved by the fact that receiving-emitting units of each of the converter are combined into groups. Besides, each of the groups consists of equal number of units, but not less than two, which have the same offset along normal to the emitting (receiving) surface.EFFECT: improving accuracy and increasing dynamic range of the measured gas consumption.5 cl, 6 dwg
