PURPOSE: A method for controlling a display of content in an electronic book viewer is provided to successively display the content on a screen corresponding to fixed display unit output speed, thereby supplying optimized reading efficiency proper to reading ability of a user. CONSTITUTION: Reading literature and evaluation questions are received from a user, and answers are obtained. An evaluation result of the user is calculated and is stored in a database. Evaluation results stored in the database of other users are collected. The evaluation results are classified and statistically processed corresponding to a classification reference. A reading efficiency index of the user is calculated. Reading behavior architecture information is determined corresponding to the reading efficiency index. Speed in which the content is displayed is controlled corresponding to the reading behavior architecture information.
