A walking type rice planting machine is provided with: a shift operation shaft (411) which is slid and operated in the axis direction to change the transmission ratio of power transmitted to a left wheel (4L) and a right wheel (4R) by a power transmitting mechanism (7), and which is rotated and operated about the axis to change the transmission ratio of power transmitted to a planting device (5) by the power transmitting mechanism (7); a travel speed changing lever (437) which is disposed at a position reachable by the hand of the worker engaged in planting operation and which slides and operates the shift operation shaft (411) in the axis direction; and an inter-seedling speed changing lever (435) which is disposed at a position not reachable by the hand of the worker engaged in the planting operation and which rotates and operates the shift operation shaft (411) about the axis. |
