PURPOSE: A position detecting method and an apparatus of a moving body are provided to recognize one's position in a space through comparing-matching of an indicator locus and the odometry of a moving body. CONSTITUTION: In a position detecting method and an apparatus of a moving body, a mark detection block(1042) analyzes an aerial image. The mark detection block detects one or more light source indicators in the space. A location calculation block(1044) produces a space coordinates corresponding to the detected light source indicator. The location calculation block transmits the position value of the space coordinates to one or a plurality of moving body. A location identification module(106) generates the indicator locus corresponding to the position value. . The location identification module matches the indicator locus with the odometry locus of the moving body. The location identification module recognizes one's position in the space. |
