PURPOSE: A multi private area network (PAN) Zigbee communication apparatus and a remote metering system using the same are provided to perform communication between nodes belonging to different PAN regions and to perform communication with a node in the shadow region by remote distance or other obstacles. CONSTITUTION: A first Zigbee module (11) includes a first Zigbee communication part and a first control part. A second Zigbee module (12) includes a second Zigbee communication part and a second control part. The first Zigbee module and the second Zigbee module are set to belong to the PAN of different Zigbee networks.
