The present invention relates to a meter cover safety device capable of preventing the cover from being released by extending a ring while improving convenience of sealing and simplifying the components. More particularly, the present invention comprises the following: an inclined surface inclined downwards from the inner side to the outer side at the upper edge of the cover; a first groove along the outer circumference surface; at least one installation groove between upper and lower end parts along the inner circumference surface to be placed collinearly to the groove of the cover; a sealing cover having an opened space for one end of the lower end part to be connected; a hitched ring protruding downwards facing a hitched end; the hitched ring, to place the hitched end in the opened space, combined to the installation groove of the sealing cover; the hitched end combined to the body pressed; and the hitched ring extended by an inclined end and inserted into the first groove and the sealing cover which cannot be released. Therefore, the hitched end of the hitched ring arranged between the sealing cover and the cover is hitched under the lower end so that the hitched ring cannot be extended to the opened space by the present invention. |
