PURPOSE: A bidet with a sterilization function and a control method thereof are provided to remove foreign materials and bacteria existing on a washing nozzle and the inside a toilet bowl. CONSTITUTION: A bidet with a sterilization function comprises a nozzle washing member(300), one or more toilet bowl sterilizing nozzles(400), a branch valve(200), and a control unit(600). The nozzle washing member is coupled to the end of a washing nozzle(60) and has one or more self-washing nozzles(330). The toilet bowl sterilizing nozzles sterilize the inner wall surface of a toilet bowl. The nozzle washing nozzle and the toilet bowl sterilizing nozzles are connected to the branch valve. When a seating separation signal is applied from a seating sensor to the control unit, the control unit applies the signal to the branch valve to jet sterilizing water to the self-washing nozzles or toilet bowl sterilizing nozzles. |
