The mechanism (1) has a base plate (4) equipped with a fixing unit i.e. screw (41), of a railing shoe (2) on a support (S). A mast is secured to the base plate and equipped with another fixing unit at an end of a guardrail post on the shoe. A pressing screw (6) is co-acted with a threaded opening placed in the base plate for adjusting an inclination of the mast relative to the support. A sole rests on the base plate of the shoe. The sole is dimensioned for passage of the former fixing unit, and includes a bearing surface for the pressing screw. An independent claim is also included for a guardrail. |
