摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of forming an image by using an active light curing type inkjet ink excellent in ejection stability from an inkjet recording device and in curability.SOLUTION: An image forming method includes: a step of ejecting ink droplets of an active light curing type inkjet ink which contains a gelling agent, a photopolymerizable compound and a photopolymerization initiator and performs a sol-gel phase transition reversibly in accordance with a temperature, from an inkjet recording head to attach the ink liquid droplets onto a recording medium; and a step of irradiating droplets landed onto the recording medium with active light beams to cure the ink droplets. The photopolymerizable compound includes: a (meth)acrylate compound A which has a molecular weight in a range of 280 to 1,500 and is solid at a normal temperature; and a (meth)acrylate compound B which has a molecular weight in a range of 280 to 1,500 and has a Clog P value in a range of 4.0 to 7.0.
