PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal which can suppress power consumption and also receive data at timing according to the type of the data.SOLUTION: A portable terminal communicates with a management server which acquires data from respective data providing servers and manages the respective pieces of data. For each type of the respective pieces of data, the portable terminal transmits, to the management server, condition information indicating conditions for the management server to transmit the corresponding type of data, and inquires of the management server whether data exists of which transmission is permitted on the basis of the condition information among the pieces of data acquired by the management server. And if such data of which transmission is permitted exists, the portable terminal receives the data from the management server. |
