PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To add a magnetostrictive film to a lower shaft of a steering shaft without dividing the lower shaft into two parts, and provide a resin film in a male-female fitting portion of an upper shaft and the lower shaft.SOLUTION: In an electric power steering device 1, a fitting shaft 12A and a magnetostrictive film-coated portion 12B of a lower shaft 12 are formed integrally with each other. A resin film 60 is formed on only a fitting shaft 11A of an upper shaft 11, of the fitting shafts 11A, 12A of the upper shaft 11 and the lower shaft 12. |
