PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buffer unit which is capable of improving the workability of component replacement work of a device.SOLUTION: A buffer unit U includes: a bottom plate member 60; and a first partition member 70, a second partition member 80, and a third partition member 90 which are built in the bottom plate member 60 and include storage spaces. The bottom plate member 60 includes a pair of side plate pieces 62L and 62R having inclined upper edge parts 621 on which a printer is to be placed. Replacement components of the printer are stored in the storage spaces respectively, and in this state, the buffer unit U is stored in a cardboard box. The buffer unit U is taken out from the cardboard box when maintenance work of the printer is performed, and the buffer unit U is used as a work table for placing the printer thereon when component replacement work is performed through a bottom of the printer. In component replacement work, the first partition member 70 is removed from the bottom plate member 60 to form a work space sufficient for allowing access to the bottom of the printer. |
