PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-insoluble ionic vinyl monomer that contains none of metal ions, an organic solvent, and water, is superior in compatibility, moisture resistance, and hydrolysis resistance, and has long-period antistatic effects.SOLUTION: A water-insoluble ionic vinyl monomer represented by general formula [1], where Rand Reach represent a hydrogen atom or methyl group, Rand Rrepresent an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, or a benzyl group, and Xrepresents straight-chain sulfonimide anion [(RfSO)(RfSO)N](where Rfand Rfeach represent a perfluoroalkyl group or fluoro group) or cyclic imide anion [CF(CFSO)N]can be obtained by separating an organic solvent phase after anion exchange reaction carried out in a biphasic system in the presence of both a water-insoluble organic solvent and water, bubbling an inert gas etc., after vacuum concentration, and removing the organic solvent and water, and further adding an ion adsorbent to a water phase during the anion exchange reaction. |
