PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a musical note position detector for detecting a position of a musical note in a musical score image corresponding to a sound indicated by musical note data on the basis of a musical score image and musical note data of the same music that are independent with each other and have no relationship.SOLUTION: A CPU 10 detects a measure line from a musical score image to section the measure line in each measure, and acquires the arrangement range of a musical note for each sectioned measure. The position of a musical note in the acquired arrangement range is estimated using musical note data, and the matching value and the detection position of the musical note at the estimated position are detected as a position candidate. A musically impossible position candidate is removed from among the detected position candidates, and among the residual position candidates, the detection position of a position candidate with the highest matching coefficient is determined as the position of the musical note. |
