The invention relates to a lighting device (1) with a tape-shaped carrier (3) and a plurality of lighting elements (5) which are arranged on the carrier (3). Especially high-intensity lighting elements (which generate great quantities of heat during operation due to the dissipated power) can be used in the lighting device according to the invention. These quantities of heat are dissipated to the support and are thus carried off from the lighting elements.
