Charger for inductively charging an energy accumulator of a vehicle, comprising a primary charging part which is connected to a power source and a secondary charging part which can be connected to the energy accumulator, wherein the primary charging part (2) is fixed and the secondary charging part (3) on its base sides, which is accommodated in a securing device (4) on its base sides, can be moved between a non-charging position and a charging position, for which purpose the secondary part (3) can be connected in a mechanically and electrically detachable fashion to at least one coupling device arranged in the underbody region of the vehicle (5) as the vehicle travels over, such that for the purpose of charging the secondary part (3) can be moved into the charging position during further travel over the primary part (2), and at the end of the charging process when the vehicle (5) travels backwards said secondary part (3) can be moved into the non-charging position accompanied by release of the mechanical and electrical connection. |
