An anode according to one embodiment of the present invention includes an anode active material and activated charcoal. The average particle diameter of the activated charcoal is 100-160% against 100% of average particle diameter of the anode active material. The anode contains activated charcoal with the same size as or larger than the active material, thereby providing a battery with improved charging/discharging characteristics and lifetime properties.
