PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating member capable of achieving both of good IH temperature elevation property and durability.SOLUTION: A heating member 1 to be used for heating an object to be heated comprises a polymeric base layer 2, a conductive layer 3 laminated on the base layer 2, and a rubber elastic layer 4 laminated on the conductive layer 3. The conductive layer 3 has a first layer 301 containing a great number of conductive particles 31 and a binder polymer 32 that binds among the great number of conductive particles 31, in which adjoining conductive particles 31 are continuous in at least a layer plane direction while being in contact with each other. The heating member 1 can be used for a fixing member in an electrophotographic image forming apparatus. The base layer 2 can be shaped into a cylinder. The conductive layer 3 can be formed as a heat generating layer that generates heat by electromagnetic induction heating. |
