PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle periphery monitoring system capable of monitoring an object moved close to the periphery of a vehicle utilizing a keyless system for the vehicle, and also provide an on-vehicle device and a mobile terminal used for the monitoring system.SOLUTION: A smart keyless control unit 2 includes a vehicle information acquiring part 23 for acquiring vehicle information indicating a state of a vehicle 100, a control part 20 which determines whether or not the vehicle 100 is in such a state that the periphery thereof must be monitored based on the vehicle information acquired by the vehicle information acquiring part 23, makes LF transmission parts 24a-24d perform trial communication when the vehicle 100 is in that state, and detects an object having an unregistered mobile terminal 4 present in a communication area based on whether the mobile terminal 4 communicating with the LF transmission parts 24a-24d is unregistered or not, and an HMI part 25 which presents the information on the object detected by the control part 20 to an occupant of the vehicle 100. |
