PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforced concrete structure having high tensile strength.SOLUTION: A reinforced concrete structure contains cured concrete having a longitudinal direction, and a reinforcing material embedded in the concrete. The reinforcing material is composed of a plurality of loop strings each formed of a composite fiber material. Each of the plurality of the loop strings has two linear portions extending in the longitudinal direction, and two curved portions between the two linear portions. Compression force is given to the concrete existing in a closed space when the reinforced concrete structure is exposed to a tensile load in the longitudinal direction by arranging a plurality of the loop strings so that they partly overlap each other to demarcate the closed space by the overlapped edges of two loop strings. |
