An encoder of the present invention comprises a rotary shaft, a base part supporting the rotary shaft, and a bearing part interposed between the rotary shaft and the base part. After the rotary shaft, the base part, and the bearing part are installed, the bearing part relative to the base part is formed to move toward the rotary shaft with the rotary shaft so that a gap between an encoder member installed in the base part and an encoder member installed in the rotary shaft can be controlled. |
