There is disclosed a device (9) for installation in an air-operated spray gun for the purpose of regulating the compressed air supply. The device comprises a housing stub (42), which, during installation, is connected in a rotationally rigid manner to a spray gun body (1) of the spray gun. The device further includes a sleeve (31), which is adjustable by means of a regulating lever and is adapted to be twisted relative to the housing stub, the sleeve having a transverse bore (32) for adjusting a cross section of passage of the compressed air supply duct of the spray gun.
