PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a rubber composition for a tire in which excellent ozone resistance can be obtained while preventing brown discoloration; and a pneumatic tire using the same.SOLUTION: A rubber composition for a tire includes: a natural origin wax in which an ester component content is 40-98 mass%; a petroleum origin wax containing each normal alkane of a carbon number 20-32; and a phenylenediamine based and/or quinone based antiaging agent, wherein a content of the natural origin wax is 0.05-2 pts.mass, the total content of the each normal alkane of a carbon number 20-32 is 0.3-1.5 pts.mass, and the total content of the phenylenediamine based and quinone based antiaging agent is 1.4-6.0 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of the rubber component. |
