PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a failure part detection method for estimating a failure part easily upon failure of a network, in an electric injection molding machine for controlling a servo motor and a PWM converter by a ring network.SOLUTION: The controller (5) of an electric injection molding machine (1) is a master station (C), a drive substrate for controlling servo motors (m1, m2, ...), a PWM converter (2) are slave stations (c1, c2, ...), and they are connected by a ring network (4) through which packets flow in only one direction. When a packet is not received for a preset stand-by time or longer, each slave station (c1, c2, ...) waits for the preset stand-by time, and then transmits an abnormality generation notification packet assigned with the ID of the station. The master station (C) estimates a failure part from the abnormality generation notification packet thus received. |
