PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dynamo-electric machine having a rotating shaft, a rotor and a stator in a casing, and cooling them using refrigerant in the casing, and capable of being mounted easily while enhancing the cooling efficiency by the refrigerant.SOLUTION: A dynamo-electric machine 1 comprises: a rotor 10; a stator 20; a rotating shaft 30; and a refrigerant agitation unit 40 in a casing which is storing the cooling oil O. The refrigerant agitation unit 40 is secured to the rotating shaft 30 on the end face of the rotor 10 in the axial direction, and has a mounting member 45, a plurality of agitation members 50, and a coil spring 55. Each agitation member 50 is pivotally supported by a plurality of shanks 45A formed in the mounting member 45, and has an agitation protrusion 51 and a body 52. When the refrigerant agitation unit 40 rotates together with the rotor 10, the dynamo-electric machine 1 scoops and scatters the cooling oil O in the casing by means of the agitation protrusion 51 projecting from the outer peripheral edge of the mounting member 45, thus cooling the components of the dynamo-electric machine 1. |
