PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate duplication of an internal button and an external button assigned with a same function.SOLUTION: An image display device 1 includes a main device 3 and an external device 4. The main device 3 includes: a display unit 10 having a display screen 14 on which graphic elements 7 of one or more internal buttons, each assigned with a predefined function, are displayed; an operating unit 11 capable of selecting a graphic element 7 on the display screen 14; and a control unit 12 which controls the main device 3. The external device 4 includes one or more external buttons 8, each assigned with a function that is assigned to an internal button, and is detachably connected to the main device 3. The control unit 12 checks whether or not the external device 4 is connected thereto, eliminates the graphic elements 7 of the internal buttons from the display screen 14 if the external device 4 is connected, and displays the graphic elements 7 of the internal buttons on the display screen 14 if the external device 4 is not connected. |
