PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber cable having such a structure that a coated optical fiber or a coated optical fiber tape is disposed between two tension members, in which damages on the coated optical fiber are prevented even when external force is added to the cable including coated fibers as many as possible.SOLUTION: An optical fiber cable 10 includes a plurality of coated optical fibers 11a (or a coated optical fiber tape of the optical fibers) disposed between a pair of tension members 13, which are integrated by a sheath 12. In the optical fiber cable 10, four or more coated optical fibers 11a are disposed in a protected area interposed by the pair of the tension members 13. |
