PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyethylene for pipe and joint, which has high flowability and excellent moldability, as well as excellent durability, particularly in pipe and joint uses, and can be subjected to molding in a high cycle in both injection molding method and extrusion molding method while securing excellent dimensional stability and pipe surface appearance of an injection molded product, and a molded product thereof.SOLUTION: A polyethylene for pipe and joint satisfies the following features (I)-(IV). Feature (I): HLMFR is 15-25 g/10 minutes. Feature (II): The density is 0.945-0.954 g/cm. Feature (III): The rupture time in a full notch creep test (measured at 80°C and 5 MPa) is 150 hours or more. Feature (IV): The bending elastic modulus (23°C) is 950 MPa or more. |
