INK FILLING METHOD, AND INKJET RECORDING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that a conventional inkjet recording apparatus cannot simultaneously perform filling from an ink tank to a sub-tank and a recording operation and therefore it is required to interrupt recording operation and separately perform an operation for filling ink in the sub-tank.SOLUTION: Acceleration of a carriage of an inkjet recording apparatus is controlled such that a dynamic pressure of ink inside a supply tube communicating a recording head with a sub-tank becomes greater than a pressure resistance to an ink movement and a pressure resistance to an air movement in a hollow tube communicating a main tank with the sub-tank.
