PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that although the blur amount and the parallax amount in the image for right eye and the image for left eye are determined integrally by a focal position and an aperture set by an image pickup optical system, it may be required to change the parallax amount independently.SOLUTION: By using reference image data, first parallax image data having a first parallax in one direction for the subject image of the reference image data, and second parallax image data having a second parallax in other direction opposite from the one direction, which are generated by capturing the same scene, a third parallax pixel value having a third parallax different from both first parallax and second parallax is calculated for a subject image by a calculating formula P-P=(1/2-C)(P-P)(P:reference pixel value, P:first parallax luminance value, P:second parallax luminance value, P:third parallax pixel value, C:real number (where, C≠0, 0.5, 1)). |
