PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum breaker for a disposer capable of further improving responsiveness and certainty of operation, and capable of being further compactly constituted.SOLUTION: A vacuum breaker for a disposer includes a fixed body 20 arranged to fix a fixing object 10 provided with a penetrating installation hole 11 and having a clean water side flow passage 24, a disposer side flow passage 25 and a guide groove 26 in a central part, and a valve cover 80 for covering the upper side of the fixed body 20, arranging an opening 81 on an upper surface and arranged so that an inside surface 82 guides reciprocating motion of a valve element 70 by sliding contacting with the outer edge 72 of the valve element 70. The valve element 70 has a cylindrical part 73 projecting downward from the central part to be guided by the guide groove 26, a water communication port 74 arranged to be opened on a peripheral wall of the cylindrical part 73 and communicating the clean water side flow passage 24 and the disposer side flow passage 25, a ventilation part 75 capable of ventilating air of atmospheric opening to the water supply pipe side, and a seal part 76 arranged on the upper surface. |
