PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external appearance inspection device for long-sized body that can improve inspection precision while suppressing a sudden rise in product cost.SOLUTION: An external appearance inspection device for long-sized body includes external surface form detection means 10 of detecting an external surface form in a direction substantially orthogonal to the length direction of a long-sized body 2, a determination part 12 which determines an external appearance of the long-sided body 2 based upon a detection result of external surface form detection means 10, and a rotation actuator 11 which rotates the external surface form detection means 10 around an axis of transport of the long-sided body 2. The detection direction of the external surface form detection means 10 is changed by the rotation actuator 11 around the axis of the long-sized body 2. |
