PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier device with a guide unit for preventing buckling of recording paper.SOLUTION: A carrier device 100 includes a feed roller 9 for carrying recording paper 15a as a member to be carried, and a guide unit 110 disposed immediately in the carrying-direction front of the feed roller 9. The guide unit 110 comprises a first guide part 111 disposed on one side in the width direction of the recording paper 15a, and a second guide part 112 disposed on the other side in the state of facing the first guide part 111. The first guide part 111 has guide members 117a-117g coming into abutment with width-direction edge surface of the recording paper 15a and advancing/retreating in accordance with planar-direction skew of the recording paper 15a. The second guide part 112 has guide members 119a-119g which abut on the other width-direction edge surface of the recording paper 15a and which can advance/retreat in accordance with the planar-direction skew of the recording paper 15a. The respective guide members are continuously disposed along the carrying direction of the recording paper 15a. |
