摘要 <p>The method involves setting a required traction torque of a motor (14) and a required motor torque in combination to meet required input torque transmission during transient event. A current engine torque is estimated during a delay with provision of required motor torque at the time of transient event. A temporary traction motor torque is commanded based on difference between estimated current engine torque and required transmission input torque to compensate delay with provision of required motor torque, such that torque disturbances is prevented during transient event.</p>
