PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress heat generation, power consumption, and unnecessary radiation noise not only in standby but also in normal operation when driving image reading means.SOLUTION: When an operation mode of a CCD sensor 30 driven by a driving unit 42 supplied with power by a power supply unit 44 capable of switching the magnitude of voltage of supplied power to at least two stages is set, the power supply unit 44 is controlled so that power of voltage corresponding to the set operation mode of the CCD sensor 30 is supplied to the driving unit 42. |
