PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner that achieves both prevention of a reduction in high low-temperature fixability (particularly in low-temperature and low-humidity environment), and toner fluidity in a high-temperature and high-humidity environment.SOLUTION: (1) A toner that includes at least colorant, resin, and a volatile organic compound, and is manufactured through a step of granulating in a medium including at least water and/or an organic solvent; wherein the softening index Ct of the toner is 70 to 100°C, and the content of the volatile organic compound in the toner is 1 to 200 μg/g. (2) The toner according to (1) including chaff, a compound obtained by processing chaff, or chaff carbon. (3) The toner according to (1) or (2), wherein the volatile organic compound is ethyl acetate. |
